As we approach the end of 2019 and look at the new smartphones to be launched at CES and MWC in early 2020, a small reorganization is justified in this list of the top 10. T-Mobile has just launched its 5G nationally and after spending a couple of days with OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, it is clear that the combination of network and phone deserves a high ranking on this list.

The Apple iPhone 11 Pro was placed at the top of this list for a few months and could be justified to remain in that first place. However, after spending more than a month trying to find a daily driver to finish 2019, the iPhone 11 Pro is my second or third choice, while my best choice is preferred for several reasons.

It is easy to find an excellent phone these days and today’s phones are so good that really do not need to replace them every year, but programs update the operator and the manufacturer make this quite simple. With smartphones as critical tools for conducting business, a monthly payment or lease option is a justifiable expense.

1. OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren

OnePlus and T-Mobile just launched the smartphone OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren last week when the low-band T-Mobile 600 MHz 5G was activated. Currently, this phase of the 5G network offers minor improvements in speed, but improves the range, penetration and reliability of the wireless network.

This latest OnePlus flagship offers extremely responsive performance with its 90Hz display, fast 256GB UFS 3.0 internal storage, 12GB massive RAM and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. The triple rear cameras are on the back with a resolution of 16 megapixels from the top just when you need it.

The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren is composed of two pieces of Gorilla Glass with a metal frame. The design is elegant and the build quality is excellent. It has a beautiful AMOLED screen of 6.67 inches, a 4,085 mAh battery and Warp Charge 30T capacity, with excellent support for GSM radio networks. There is no certification of dust and water resistance and a 3.5 mm headphone jack cannot be found.

Unlike most current phones, there is no notch or perforation on the camera screen. The front camera extends and retracts from the top only when it is in active use. This helps make the phone perfect for working with documents and spreadsheets during the workday or for viewing multimedia content during your trip.

The phone runs the latest version of Android 10 and is updated regularly with the latest Android security update. There are also some highlights of Papaya Orange and McLaren software elements. The OnePlus 7T Pro is an extremely capable phone with a total retail price of $ 899.99.

2. Samsung Galaxy Note 10/10 Plus

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 placed at the top of our list of the top 10 smartphones for much of last year and was at the top of this list earlier this year. While the headphone jack is gone, everything else has been improved in the 2019 version of the Galaxy Note. The Note 10 is now offered in two variants, with the presence of a microSD card slot, the screen size and battery capacity are the main differentiators.

The Galaxy Note 10 Plus is an excellent business smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, large amounts of RAM, fast internal storage, microSD card expansion, capable rear quad camera system and much more.

Check out our review of Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has a Link to Windows button in the quick controls area along with support for the latest version of DeX. Expanding it to an external monitor with Samsung DeX is quick and easy, while providing a fully functional desktop experience. Additional capacity to charge other devices and equipment, such as Galaxy Buds, through wireless technology on the back of the Note 10 is suitable for road warriors.

The Note 10, which begins with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, starts at $ 949.99, while the Note 10 Plus with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage starts at $ 1,099.99. There is also more RAM and storage options for both devices, but the default base models offer ample RAM and storage for most users. The Note 10 Plus is now available on Samsung and all operators. T-Mobile has also just launched a 5G variant, priced at $ 1,299.99.

3. Apple iPhone 11 Pro / Pro Max

My complete review of the Apple iPhone 11 Pro led me to rate it almost with my first perfect 10. I held that back since Apple released it with only 64 GB of internal storage capacity, which I find unacceptable for a flagship phone of more than $ 1,000 with Triple Camera System: the best video capture system on a phone. Apple has also been struggling with iOS 13 performance issues, so it doesn’t remain at the top of this list.

The only differences between the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max are the screen size and battery capacity. After completing the circle, it is clear that the 5.8 inch model works best for me. There is much to say about a phone that is easy to store and capable of satisfying people with smaller hands. It can be used with one hand.

Apple has demonstrated once again that it surpasses all other phones in benchmarking tests with the Apple A13 Bionic chipset. It has a fabulous OLED screen, a battery good size with a rating of four hours more than the iPhone last year and a new hardware camera (with improved software) to make it a very attractive flagship. Continues to receive regular updates (one within the first week of release) and iOS applications are still better than comparable Android applications, despite improvements in Android phones.

Face ID remains one of the fastest and safest methods to maintain security on your phone, and the version on the iPhone 11 Pro has been improved for better performance. Google may launch an alternative next Pixel 4, but the current ultrasonic fingerprint scanners are not proving very reliable for consistent performance.

The iPhone 11 Pro starts at $ 999, while the iPhone 11 Max starts at $ 1,099 for a minimum storage model of 64 GB. There are some attractive colors for business users and, compared to the iPhone 11, the Pro version is more focused on business users.

4. Apple iPhone 11

While this list begins with the most powerful and expensive phones available, ZDNet Jason Cipriani was right to say that the iPhone 11 Apple is probably the best phone for most people. Usually, we see that Apple keeps prices the same or increases them every year, but with the iPhone 11 we saw a price drop of $ 50.

Unlike the terrible decision to launch the iPhone 11 Pro / Pro Max with 64 GB and then charge a massive premium to upgrade to the next level of 256 GB, Apple allows iPhone 11 buyers to go from 64 GB to 128 GB for just $ 50. Therefore, the iPhone 11 with 128 GB is an excellent option for most people.

IPhone 11 has a size between 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max with a long battery life, a processor capable, several color options and dual rear camera settings. IPhone 11 has an ultra wide-angle and standard angle rear cameras, but does not have the 2x telephoto zoom that is in the new iPhone models 11.

IPhone 11 begins at $ 699 for 64 GB to 128 GB model priced at $ 749. There are six colors available, so there’s one for every taste.

5. Samsung Galaxy S10 / S10 Plus

The current flagship of Samsung’s mass market is a winner in almost every aspect, and remains a more affordable and profitable option compared to the new Note 10 series. Prices have also fallen in the last six months, so You can get this phone at an excellent price.

Last year’s S9 Plus was a solid Android smartphone, but the S10 Plus improves that device with an ultra-wide camera, a much longer battery life, better software with a user interface and the ability to charge other devices wirelessly.

Samsung S10 and S10 Plus have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, Super AMOLED Infinity-O display, 8GB RAM (with 12GB option), storage options from 128GB to 1TB with a microSD card for even more capacity, five cameras, IP68 rating, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5, ANT + and an impressive design with superb Prism color options.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus continues to have all the great aspects of the Galaxy Foundation, such as a high level of water resistance, fast wireless charging, an impressive Super AMOLED display, expandable microSD storage, a 3.5mm headphone jack and much more. In addition, extending it to an external monitor with Samsung DeX is quick and easy, while providing a fully functional desktop experience. Additional capacity to charge other devices and equipment, such as new Galaxy Buds, through wireless technology on the back of the S10 Plus is suitable for road warriors.

The Galaxy S10 Plus has been available for six months, which means you can often find special offers from your preferred provider. Amazon has regularly unlocked models at prices even more affordable than Samsung or operators. The Galaxy S10 started at $ 899.99, while the S10 Plus started at $ 999.99 for the 8GB / 128GB model.

6. OnePlus 7T

OnePlus OnePlus 7T launched in October for $ 599 and offers a lot of what is on the phone 7T Pro 5G McLaren. Due to its high-end specifications, reasonable price that is hundreds less than other flagships, extremely responsive performance and use of new technology such as UFS 3.0 internal storage (now seen in Note 10 Plus) and screen refresh rate of 90Hz (now seen in Pixel 4) is clearly a device to consider.

The OnePlus 7T was launched at a price of $ 599 and, unlike previous OnePlus phone, there is only one option RAM / storage 8GB / 128GB. The only options in the US UU. They are Glacier Blue or Frosted Silver colors. This price is almost half the price of most of the flagships at the top of this list and will also be offered by T-Mobile.

OnePlus 7T, a 6.55-inch AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor (only conventional phone with this processor at this time), triple rear cameras, extensive RAM and internal storage, a large 3,800 mAh battery and Warp Charge 30T capacity, with Excellent radio support for AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and other US networks. UU. There is no certification of dust and water resistance and a 3.5 mm headphone jack cannot be found.

7. Samsung Galaxy Note 9

The Galaxy Note 9 was probably the best phone for business customers in 2018 and until the release of the Note 10 Plus remained the phone which was returning after being bored to try new and flashy phones. I have been using one now for a full year and, despite having tried many other phones, I stayed with this long enough to change it for the next Note.

The Galaxy Note 9 improved the Note 8 with a Bluetooth S Pen, more internal capacity and RAM, a massive 4,000 mAh battery, better dual rear cameras with some software intelligence, enhanced audio capability and a new location of the fingerprint scanner rear fingerprint

The One UI software that came with the Android 9 Pie update greatly improves the Note 9 with a less annoying and easier-to-use experience. While users took several months to receive the update, it was worth the wait. Note fans are waiting for the next few months, when the Note 10 is likely to reveal itself in all its glory.

Since it has been available for a year, you can find great deals in Note 9. Note If you want the experience and should only have the headphone jack 3.5 mm, or if you have a Note 8 Note 9 then still an excellent phone to buy.

8. Google Pixel 4 XL and Pixel 4

If you want an Android phone you always have the latest firmware updates and safety, while offering a fairly common experience, then nothing beats the Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL. These two phones are the same except for the total size and battery capacity.

As well: Pixel 4 vs Galaxy S10 vs iPhone 11 Pro: we compare specifications, prices and features

Google Pixel 4 XL has a large 6.3-inch 18: 9 screen, Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64GB and 128GB of integrated storage, dual 16MP and 12.2MP rear cameras, 8MP front camera, dust and water resistance IP68, a 3,700 mAh battery and two front stereo speakers. The Pixel 4 has a smaller 5.7 inch screen and a smaller 2,800mAh battery, while the other specifications are the same as the model XL.

It is a pity to see that storage starts with only 64 GB, especially with Google that provides no security copies free unlimited full resolution of your photos. The battery life is a concern for both the Pixel 4 to 4 XL, especially when compared with other flagships in this price range that will allow you to move to the least one day of use.

In addition to the software being a focus for Google, the camera is another reason to buy Pixel 4 or 4 XL over other better smartphone hardware. However, while others have phones with three or four rear cameras, Google added only one and opted for the wide-angle telephoto lens, so the utility of Pixel 4 cameras may not be as good as the one you get on other phones smart in this list.

The smaller Pixel 4 starts at $ 799, while the Pixel 4 XL starts at $ 899 for the 64GB model. Both work with Android 10 and will receive operating system updates for three years. Monthly security updates Android are the most important software support for the company, since the main firmware updates tend to spoil things and to be less stable immediately after the launch.

9. Google Pixel 3A XL and Pixel 3A

Google launched a pair of mid-level phones that are much more affordable and still include the industry-leading camera solution from Google. The Pixel 3A and 3A XL are the same phones with only the screen size and battery capacity that are different from each other. A price difference of $ 80 difference between the two sizes with the same color options also available.

The Pixel 3A and 3A XL work with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor with 5.6 or 6-inch OLED displays, 12MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, stereo speakers and 3,000 / battery options 3,700mAh This is aimed at the masses with limited internal storage and US operator availability. UU. On Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile, as well as unlocked directly from Google.

Pixel smaller 3A is priced at only $ 399, while the Pixel 3A XL costs $ 479. The only option other than size, it is the color of your phone. Available colors include Just Black, Purple-ish and Clearly White. Both work with Android 9.0 Pie and will receive operating system updates for three years. The latest features of the Google Assistant are present along with some other Google software advances.

Jason Cipriani of ZDNet gave the Pixel 3A XL a rating of 8.5 / 10.

10. Apple iPhone XR

Last year, Apple announced three new phones with one that people seem to like more than any other one month after the other two. I changed the iPhone XS Max for iPhone XR, saving $ 350 on iPhone XS Max, but at the end I could not give up the form factor of the iPhone XS.

The Apple iPhone XR differs from the XS / XS Max with an LED screen instead of OLED, lower resolution, no 3D Touch support (does anyone care about this?), A single rear camera and a 6.1-inch screen that fits between these two new phones. Apple has the same processor A12 Bionic, the same software and hardware of the camera 12MP main camera and other enhanced features Apple as Face Unlock. The iPhone XR has a larger capacity battery than the iPhone XS and a longer battery life than the XS and XS Max.

You can buy the iPhone XR in black, white, blue, yellow, coral and red product. The iPhone XR starts at $ 749, which is $ 250 less than the iPhone XS 64GB. There is also a 128GB model for $ 799, which is probably the best deal for the iPhone XR with iPhone XS 256GB to a whopping $ 1,149.

The battery life of the iPhone XR is amazing and the camera does a great job. For many people, it is probably one of the best iPhones you can buy today and is priced more reasonably than the new XS and XS Max.
