Sam’s Club’s Black Friday ad has dropped and it includes a number of video game deals.
The ad features 16 pages of deals total, and includes several console bundles. These include:
- PS4 Slim 1TB model with three games for $199–a deal we’ve seen at various other retailers.
- $100 off Xbox One consoles.
The really interesting deal at Sam’s Club is the Nintendo Switch bundle. You get the console, a Mario controller and a Mario carrying case with car charger for $334.98. This is a bit pricier than the $299 Mario Kart 8 bundles we’ve seen elsewhere, though it comes with quite a few accessories (and no game).
The twist, however, is that this is the newer Nintendo Switch model with the much longer battery life. As we pointed out earlier, virtually every other Switch deal this Black Friday is the older model with the shorter battery life, as Nintendo seems intent on clearing out as much old stock as possible–the real reason for a shopping day like Black Friday.
The longer battery life makes this a much better deal than any other Black Friday Nintendo Switch deal we’ve seen. Sure, you don’t get Mario Kart 8 which is an admittedly brilliant game. But you can just buy that separately. You can’t buy a longer battery life for an older Switch model.
So if you have a Sam’s Club membership and you’re looking to pick up a Nintendo Switch this holiday–as a gift or for yourself–this is the one you should get, hand’s down.
Other deals at Sam’s Club include games, gaming chairs and various HDTVs including an 82-inch LG Smart 4K TV with HDR for $1599 that comes with a $150 Sam’s Club gift card as well as a 75-inch Philips 4K UHD HDR TV for $599, which is insanely cheap for such a large 4K screen.
Good luck out there, holiday shoppers. It’s a mad, mad, mad, mad world.
