During the game awards, many games were revealed which included Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Those who don’t know it is the sequel to the amazing 2015’s excellent Ori and the Blind Forest, Ori and the Will of the Wisps was set to release this year but was pushed back to 11 February 2020 which is acceptable. But now the fans will have to wait a little longer to play this gorgeous game but the delay this time is a short one.
There was a new trailer for the game revealed at The Game Awards in which it was written that the game will be releasing on 11 March 2020. Daniel Smith who is Xbox Game Studios senior producer said that the game was delayed by Microsoft and Moon Studios because to have “extra time to ensure that Ori fans get the best gameplay experience possible.”
This isn’t a big thing as it is totally acceptable because the developers know that the game needs some more time in order for the player to enjoy this game. They are not keeping them in dark which is a very good thing and most of all they are trying their best to make it as good as its predecessor. Furthermore, it was revealed by Microsoft that the collector’s edition for Ori and the Will of the Wisps is now up for pre-order at select retailers.
In the collector’s edition, you will be getting an art book for Ori and the Will of the Wisps, a “Piano Collections” soundtrack CD, a steelbook case featuring the golden feather, and an MP3 download of the original soundtrack. It also includes a copy of the game for the Xbox One, so it sounds like this collector’s edition won’t be available for the PC version. This game will be releasing on the same day for both Xbox One and PC players.
