If the widget isn’t enough to get you to try out Spotify’s beta—and it should be—there’s one more feature that’s worth exploring if you’re currently running Android 10. As Android Police reports, the beta version of Spotify’s app also allows you to move forward and back in songs you’re listening to via a progress bar in Android’s notification bar.

- Click this link to join the Google Group for the Spotify Beta.
- Click this link once you’re a member of the Google Group.
- Click on the big, blue “Become a Tester” box
Finally, make sure you’ve updated your app to the latest version in Google Play. You should then have the version that grants you access to the widget, as well as the updated progress bar.
