Grammarly Keyboard Gets Swipe Typing on Android

The new version of Grammarly Keyboard for Android now supports swipe typing by default, dramatically expanding its appeal.

“The Grammarly Keyboard for Android now supports swipe,” the firm told me. “The ‘swipe to text’ function will be turned on by default, and Keyboard users can toggle it off and on. This update is available to all users.”

Grammarly didn’t issue a blog post about this update for some reason, but I see this as being just as big as any of its recent news, given that many mobile users prefer the speed of swipe typing. But this addition comes in the wake of other Grammarly improvements, including a useful tone detector. Grammarly also recently revealed that it will soon offer a new product for businesses too.

If you’re already using Grammarly Keyboard on Android, you’ll get the update automatically. Otherwise, you can download Grammarly Keyboard for Android for free from the Google Play Store.
