Launched under the US trade ban and without the Google Mobile Service, Huawei’s latest camera flagship manages to run open-source Android 10. To improve this Chinese only smartphone lineup, Huawei is rolling out several new updates and the new one brings some new stuff for camera as well as for security.
Huawei Mate 30 series comes pre-installed with EMUI 10 and this new update optimizes the stability of the WLAN network and fixes for some gaming scenarios. Particularly for Mate 30 Pro, the update brings camera performance optimizations.
The update package also includes December 2019 security patch brings fixes to 3 critical, 24 high and 1 medium level of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) found on Huawei/Honor smartphones.
According to Huawei Central, Huawei Mate 30 4G, Mate 30 Pro 4G, Mate 30 5G, Mate 30 Pro 5G and Mate 30 RS Porsche Design receiving the update with EMUI version 10.0.0.181.
In addition to Mate 30 series, Honor V20 is also receiving the December 2019 security update with version 126.96.36.1997 and weighs 170MB in size.
